David H. Johnson, 89, husband of Diane C. Johnson, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2013 at his home. He was born in Frankfort on January 28, 1924 to the late Sillas Johnson and Della Lacefield Hahn. Mr. Johnson was a retired security guard for the VA Hospital, a cook at the State Police Headquarters in Frankfort and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He also attended New Life Worship.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter, Linda Jordan of Winchester; his stepdaughters, Donna Campbell, Carla Snipes and Phyillis (Floyd) Quire; his stepsons, Robin Kuhn and David Kuhn; his sister, Dorothy Miller, all of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Travis) Ferguson and Russel Jordon; his great-granddaughter, Cory Ferguson; and 7 stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. with Rev. Gene Roberts officiating, followed by a burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casketbearers will be Travis Ferguson, Jeffrey Campbell, Robin Kuhn, Floyd Quire, Brennan Washington and Doug Lafo. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
