Stan Hulker, 63, went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2013, with his wife and daughter by his side. He died at his home after a long battle with cancer.
A native of Franklin County, he was born June 27, 1950. He was preceded in death by the only Dad he knew, John M. Pribble from Mt. Sterling, Ky.
He was a member of Crestwood Baptist Church and a past member of Bellepoint Baptist Church. Stan was retired from the Department of Finance after 30 years of service. He was also a U.S. Army veteran serving from November 15, 1971, until November 29, 1973. Stan enjoyed reading, drawing, jogging, riding his Harley, and was a UK basketball fan a sport he enjoyed playing in his younger years.
Stan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patricia Ann Moore Hulker; one daughter, Kim Harris (Carl); two granddaughters, Savannah and Carlie Harris; two sisters, Betty Campbell of Brooksville, Florida and Barbara Jean Harrod of Frankfort; one brother, Clarence (Junie) Hulker of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 9, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Crestwood Baptist Church Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Dr. Michael Hail officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jim McGaughey, David Taylor, Gayle Lee, Kevin Lee, Mike Moore and Greg Moore.
