Lisa Gayle Cheatham Tudor, 51, of Waddy, formerly of Danville, died Friday, December 20, 2013.
She was born in Danville on July 14, 1962, daughter of Dixie Lee Lowry Mullins of Versailles and the late Ralph Edwin Cheatham. A 1980 graduate of Danville High School, she earned her Bachelors degrees at Eastern Kentucky University and her Masters in Business Administration at Xavier University. For seventeen years Lisa was Director of Quality at Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. A nationally and internationally known speaker for patient quality care, Lisa was a strong patient advocate. She loved to farm, made her own lye soap and crocheted many beautiful pieces.
In addition to her father she was predeceased by her step father, Roy Mullins. She is also survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert N. Tudor Jr.; a daughter, Meredith Tudor (Jonathan) Crawford of New Albany, Ind.; a son, Joseph (Angela) Tudor of Rincon, Ga.; a brother, Mark (Kelley) Cheatham of Parksville; three grandchildren, Natalie, Brooklyn and Preston; and three nephews, Greg, Michael and Collin.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the service at 4 p.m. Lisa’s remains will be scattered in special places that were precious to her.
