Brandon Scott Hickman, 22, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Services for Brandon will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, at Evergreen Baptist Church. Rev. Todd Lester will officiate with Rev. Tim Jumpp assisting. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday beginning at 12 p.m. until the service hour.
Brandon was born September 27, 1991, in Los Angeles, California. He was a DJ, event promoter and known as a musician and artist. Brandon was a free spirit with a heart of gold.
He is survived by his father, Dwayne (Angie) Hickman; mother, Renay Hickman (Scott Beagle); siblings, Bethany Hickman (Britton Maddox), Ellyssa Wise (Austin Blakeman), Chandler Hudnall, Max Hudnall, Madison Cox; one awesome nephew who called him “Uncle Bub,” Otto Edward Maddox; paternal grandmother, Myrtle Hickman; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Aker; maternal step-grandparents, Audrey and Diane Beagle; godparents, Joe Karsner, Margie Karsner, Paul and Judy Olds; paternal aunts and uncles, Dale and Tonia Hickman, Troy and Jennifer Hickman; maternal aunts and uncles, Shawna Ritchie, Mandy Dickson and Roy-Thomas Dickson.
Brandon was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Troy Hickman; maternal grandfather Edward Ritchie; maternal grandfather, Donald Aker; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Caswell; and paternal step-grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Cornish.
Pallbearers will be Britton Maddox, Scott Beagle, Mace Saunders, Max Hudnall, Chandler Hudnall, Jeremy Shanks and Kodey Hickman. Honorary bearers are Erica and Kasey Hickman, Rebecca and Katelyn Hedges, Brandon Meriwether, Annie Smith, Ryan Stone, Kenason Murray, Kristen Whited, Jimmy Helton, Matt Chittum, Phillip Sparks, David Hogg, Donovan Conway, Jordan Cunningham, Jacob Bibb, Jackson Todd, Adam Husband, Dimitri and Cayman Hubbard.
