Mary Frances Holbrook Cloer, age 75, passed away peacefully after a long illness Monday, May 19, 2014, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center.
Services for Mrs. Cloer will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Dr. David A. Rusk officiating. Burial will follow in Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cloer was born in Mineral Ridge, Ohio on June 24, 1938. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Post 4075.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, John L. Cloer; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Gary Siler; and half-sister, Debbie Siler.
Mrs. Cloer was preceded in death by four daughters, Rose Marie Grubbs, Rhonda Lee Grubbs, Vickie Lynn Grubbs, Donna Gail Turner; her father, Robert Holbrook; her mother, Lois Sammons Siler; brother, Ronald Holbrook; sister, Patricia Patrick; and half-brother, Larry Siler.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
