Frankie Dawn Pulliam, age 63, passed away after a long, courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis on Sunday, June 1, 2014.
Services for Dawn will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Pennington officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends will be received at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
Dawn was born in Frankfort February 25, 1951. She retired as an administrative specialist from Human Resources, Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Commonwealth of Kentucky. She attended Buck Run Baptist Church. Dawn was a lover all critters — great and small, often taking donations of supplies to L.I.F.E. House for Animals and Franklin County Humane Society.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Frank Pulliam. She is survived by her mother, Remona Hutcherson Pulliam; uncle, Joe Pat Hutcherson (Peggy); and numerous cousins.
Mrs. Pulliam would like to extend her grateful appreciation to Dawn’s transplant support team, Mona Redding, Julie Rogers and Louise Bailey.
Pallbearers are Terry Hutcherson, Kevin Hutcherson, Todd Hutcherson, Trevor Hutcherson, Dale Roland and Mike Harrod. Honorary bearers are Kerry Redding, Jeff Rogers and Bradley Bailey.
