Funeral service for J.R. Sudduth, 89 of Frankfort, will be 2 p.m. Friday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. Brothers Steve Stutzman, Joshua Rayborn, and Oscar Mayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Bagdad Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, 11 a.m. until the time of service.
J.R. passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Masonic Home of Shelbyville.
A Frankfort native, he was a member of North Benson Baptist Church, he was a receiving clerk for Roll Forming Corporation Sheet Metal, and proudly served his country in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen Hunt Sudduth
Survivors include his loving wife, Willena Sudduth, Frankfort; sons, Grant Sudduth, Frankfort, Lamont Sudduth (Lisa), Griffin, Ga.; a daughter, Janene Molina of Citrus Heights, Calif.; grandchildren, Michael Ray Moore, Tabitha Rayborn, Joshua Grant Sudduth, Ivana Marie Sudduth, Hannah Gelmini, Phillip Sudduth, and Megan Wade.
Pallbearers will be Bill Burke, Steve Thornton, Darrell Moore, Dewey McGuire, Louis McGuire, and Bobby Redding. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Sudduth, Danny Ahler, LeMoyne Pilcher and Harold F. Moore.
