Funeral services for Cody Scott Bryant, 23, Frankfort, will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home. The Rev. Roy Faulkner will officiate. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Cody died Monday morning after a utility vehicle accident. He worked in the upholstery business and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Cody was well loved by so many and had a smile that melted so many hearts in his life. He had a personality that made everyone around him laugh and smile. He had a love for his family and friends that was undeniable, and his sweet, kind heart proved that in many ways. He had a heart of gold and proved that in everything he did. Cody loved to fish, hunt, four-wheel and he enjoyed everything about living the country life. He also had a love for Chevy trucks. But most of all, he loved his Momma as much as she loved him.
He is the son of Marcelle Bryant, Frankfort. Survivors include sisters Jessica Bryant (Justin) Howell, West Virginia, Melissa Fortner (Brian Maddox) Frankfort; nieces, Adrian Bryant Howell, West Virginia, Kylie Dean and Malorie Maddox, Frankfort; aunt Louise Bryant-Ritchie (Keith); and cousins Taryn and Camden Ritchie, Frankfort; and grandfather, Kenneth (Myrna) Bryant, Frankfort. He was also survived by his two beloved dogs, Kela and Halo.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ethel Rose Faulkner-Bryant.
He was also survived by half-brothers Allen Redmon Jr. and A.J. Snipes, and half-sisters Anna Henry and Jasmine Long.
Visitation will be held Friday 3-8 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
