RICHMOND — Gloria Rose Juett Fincham, 62, wife of Leland Allen Fincham, loving mother and grandmother, passed to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Baptist Health Lexington after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Arlene Juett.
She is survived by her daughters, Andrea Fincham Davis of Richmond, Melissa Fincham Bradshaw and husband, Alan, of Richmond, Katie Fincham Predeek of Silverton, Ore.; three granddaughters, Isabella Rose Norwood, Madilyn Faith Davis, Callie Juett Bradshaw; and one grandson, Lucas Allen Predeek. She is also survived by four sisters Phyllis White (Charles), Joy Wilhite and Marietta Allen of Owenton, and Myra Sutton (Llyod) of Hopkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Gloria was born April 10, 1952 in Owenton and grew up on the family farm. She also resided in Frankfort, Ashland and Richmond. She was a graduate of Owen County High School. She was a secretary for the state, church secretary and homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, spending time with her grandchildren and family, traveling and cheering on the UK basketball teams. She was a charter member of Anchor Baptist Church, Richmond and a member of the Baptist faith all her life.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 on Thursday at Anchor Baptist Church, 1755 Lancaster Road, Richmond.
The service will be conducted by the Rev. Paul Sowders. Memorials may be sent to the Anchor Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1794, Richmond, the Salvation Army of Richmond or charity of your choice.
