Robert H. Marshall II, 89, passed away Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at his home.
Born in Wisconsin on Dec. 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry Lee and Cora May Crabtree Marshall, and was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Faye Dix Marshall.
Robert grew up in Georgia and was a World War II veteran, serving in Germany in the Army Air Corps, Infantry and Chaplin Corps. He lived in Colorado for 28 years and spent much of his life as a minister. When asked how he would describe his life, he replied, “My life has been magical. God has always been a part of my life.”
Robert is survived by a daughter, Diane Bryant of Frankfort; a son, Robert Lee Marshall of Florida; granddaughter, Jennifer Matzke of Frankfort; four other grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
