Transy releases Deans List

Eight Franklin County residents at Transylvania University have been named to the Deans List for the winter term. To be named to the Deans List, a student must achieve at least a 3.5 grade point average during the term.

Franklin County High School graduates were:

Junior Andrew Dieruf, an accounting major and the son of Mark and Rita Dieruf.

Junior Emma Kring, an exercise science major, is the daughter of Phillip and Cathy Kring.

Lexington Catholic High School graduate sophomore Russell Ashcraft is the son of Raymond Ashcraft of Frankfort and Connie Smith of Wetumpka, Ala.

Western Hills High School graduates honored were:

Junior Meredith Plant, an English major, whos the daughter of Philip and Dena Plant.

Junior Laura Pyles, a political science major, is the daughter of Joseph and Charlotte Pyles.

Sophomore Eric Reed, a business administration and sociology double major, is the son of John Reed.

Junior Whitney True is the daughter of Julian and Jennifer True.

The Frankfort High School graduate honored was:

Junior Sarah Paul, an elementary education major, is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Paul.

Two graduate from IWU

Larincia Bowers and Cathy A. Delahoussaye, both of Frankfort, recently received degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Ind.

Bowers received a masters degree in business administration and Delahoussaye a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
