Here’s a listing of Easter egg hunts and other special non-worship-service events set for this upcoming Easter weekend. Check the church listings, churches’ websites and advertising in the paper for other special Easter services that abound during this season.
Saturday
Quest Church
An Easter Fest begins at 4 p.m. at Quest Community Church, 2250 Lawrenceburg Rd. behind Capital Bowl. The event includes an egg hunt for kids 12 and under with 10,000 eggs a little after 4, inflatables, pictures with the Easter Bunny and a petting zoo. It will be held rain or shine. Vendors will also be available for families to purchase food.
Buck Run Baptist
An Easter egg hunt will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Buck Run Baptist Church’s Rehoboth Campus, 1950 Leestown Rd.
Capital City Christian
An Easter egg hunt will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Capital City Christian Church, 15 Locust Lane beside Crossroads Ford. The event will be divided into age divisions. There will also be inflatables and pictures with the Easter Bunny.
South Frankfort Park
An Easter egg hunt is planned for 3-7 p.m. at South Frankfort Park. The event will include face painting and more.
Sunday
New Harvest
New Harvest Assembly of God, 3864 127 South, will have an Easter egg hunt at 6 p.m. Easter Sunday on the church’s campus. The event features hundreds of eggs with some containing special prizes. The hunt will be divided into age divisions with games and prizes.
