Gosnay-Clark
Richard Gosnay and Karen Gosnay of Saint Cloud, Fla., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kara Lynn Gosnay, to Brandon L. Clark, son of Dannie and Ann Clark of Frankfort.
Ms. Gosnay is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in education. She is a fifth-grade reading and language arts teacher at Kissimmee Charter School in Kissimmee, Fla.
Brandon is a graduate of Western Hills High School and a state trooper graduate of the Florida Highway Patrol Academy. He is a field training officer with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in Kissimmee, Fla.
No date has been set for the wedding.
Lafoe-Ballard
Doug and Ann (Phillips) Lafoe, of Frankfort, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Diane Lafoe, to Cody James Ballard, son of Jim and Vanessa Ballard of Madison, Tenn.
Ms. Lafoe is a graduate of Western Hills High School and will graduate in May from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn., with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and a minor in music.
Mr. Ballard is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. He is currently enrolled in the PhD program in math and physics at the University of Maryland.
The wedding will be May 26, 6 p.m., in Portland, Tenn.
