Owen-Jenkins
Ken and Cindy Owen announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jill Owen, to Matthew Jenkins, son of Michael and Mary Jo Jenkins of Berea.
Ms. Owen is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Western Kentucky University where she received a degree in English literature and French. She is currently a graduate student and teaching assistant of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Kentucky.
Mr. Jenkins is a graduate of Berea Community High School and Western Kentucky University where he received a degree in middle grades education. He is currently a mathematics teacher at Clark Middle School in Winchester.
The wedding will be June 30, 1 p.m. at East Frankfort Baptist Church with a reception to follow. A closed wedding will be observed.
Curry-Germond
Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Curry of Frankfort announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lauren Marie Curry, to Alexander Douglas Germond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Germond of Louisville.
Ms. Curry is a graduate of Franklin County High School and the University of Kentucky where she received a degree in communication. She is employed by the Kentucky Transportation Center.
Mr. Germond is a graduate of North Oldham High School and the University of Kentucky where he received a degree in hospitality management. He is employed by Panera Bread.
The wedding will be June 16, 6:30 p.m. at Buck Run Baptist Church.
A closed wedding will be observed.
