Carrie Beth Grugin, daughter of Michael Grugin and David and Connie Jones of Frankfort, and Adam Jennings Reed, son of Sherri and Gary Reed of Lexington, were married May 14, 2011, at First United Methodist Church of Frankfort. Pastor Wayne Sayre performed the ceremony.
Nuptial music was provided by Roy Nance.
Jessica Harris Hosfield was matron of honor.
Sam Reed, brother of the groom, was the best man.
A reception at the Glen Willis House followed the ceremony.
The Reeds are making their home in West Chester, Ohio.
Mrs. Reed is a graduate of Western Hills High School and the University of Kentucky, where she was an art history major and a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She is employed by JP Morgan Chase in West Chester, Ohio.
Mr. Reed is a graduate of Henry Clay High School and Western Kentucky University, where he was a business economics major and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He is employed by Marubeni- Itochu Steel America, Inc., in West Chester, Ohio.
Mike and Barbara Sudduth announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lori Renee Sudduth, to James Bradley Keith Proctor, son of James and Angelia Proctor.
Miss Sudduth is a graduate of Franklin County High School and is currently attending Kentucky State University, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is employed as a sales associate with Petco and a custom framer with Michael’s.
Mr. Proctor is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Spencerian College, where he received an associate degree in computer graphic design. He is employed as a call center supervisor with ACS Recovery Services.
The wedding will be May 26, 2 p.m., at Holly Hill Church of Christ. A reception will be held at the Kentucky History Center.
An open wedding will be observed.
Larry and Debbie Smither, of Frankfort, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Dawn Smither, to Justin Douglas Boler, son of Floyd and Jane Boler of Frankfort.
Ms. Smither is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Kentucky State University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is employed by the Department of Disability Determination.
Mr. Boler is a graduate of Franklin County High School and is attending Kentucky State University. He is employed by Osram Sylvania in Versailles.
