Goin-Johnson

Erin Goin and Neil Johnson announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Ms. Goin is the daughter of Ms. Betty Goin of Frankfort and Mr. Willoughby Goin III of Frankfort.

Mr. Johnson is the son of Mrs. Eunice Waddles of Hindman and Mr. Kenny Johnson of Harlan.

The wedding will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church, Midway.

Thornton-Gray

Ronnie and Sharon Brophy announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their granddaughter, Katlin Leigh Thornton, daughter of Susan Watkins, to Logan Nelson Gray, son of Larry and Darylyn Gray.

Miss Thornton is a graduate of Franklin County High School and is currently attending the University of Kentucky, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in secondary math education. She is employed at Cracker Barrel.

Mr. Gray is a graduate of Spencer County High School and is currently attending the University of Kentucky, where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in secondary science education. He is employed at Papa John’s.

The wedding will be Sept. 29 in Taylorsville.

 

Catlett-Curry

Bill and Judy Catlett of Frankfort announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their son, William Raymond Catlett III, to Sara Beth Curry, daughter of Terry and Rhonda Curry of Richmond. 

Mr. Catlett is a graduate of Franklin County High School Bluegrass Community and Technical College, where he received an associate of science degree. He is currently completing his nursing degree at Eastern Kentucky University. He is employed at Frankfort Regional Medical Center as well as The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Frankfort.

 Ms. Curry is a graduate of Madison Central High School and Eastern Kentucky University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary early childhood education last May and is currently completing her master’s degree in learning behavior disorders through Union College. She is employed as a homebound teacher in the Madison County School District. 

A June 2012 at Talon Winery in Lexington is planned.
