Weddings and Engagements


Kathleen Billiter and Tim Riggs were married April 15, 2012 at Cove Spring Park. Pastor Ken Land officiated. 

Jeffrey Tucker Billiter, son of the bride, presented his mother. Sharon H. Eastman and Chase A. Riggs were the attendants.  

Following a wedding trip to Cumberland Falls, the Riggses are making their home in Frankfort.



Terry and Connie Harrod announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kara Brianne Harrod, to Jonathan Kent Winkle, son of Kenny and Linda Winkle.

Ms. Harrod is a graduate of Western Hills High School and is employed by Dr. Jan Weisberg.

Mr. Winkle is a graduate of Western Hills High School and is employed by Franklin County Public Schools.

The wedding will be June 9, 6:30 p.m., at Castle Winery in Versailles.

A closed wedding will be observed.




Jack and Louise Black, pictured now and on their wedding day, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary June 9. The Rev. Raymond Long married the Blacks in 1962 at the Robinson Creek Baptist Church parsonage in Campbellsville. The Blacks have two children, Janice Tucker of Frankfort and John Black of Lawrenceburg, and two grandchildren. A reception given by their children and daughter-in-law, Jackie Black, will take place June 9 at the Frankfort Plant Board Clubhouse from 4-7 p.m.
