Mickey Goff and Stephen and Becke McGaughey announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Christine McGaughey, to William Andrew Bowker, son of William and Linda Bowker.
Ms. McGaughey is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in public relations and is currently employed in the Kentucky Department of Insurance.
Mr. Bowker is a graduate of Samford University Cumberland School of Law and is currently employed as an attorney for the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy.
A closed wedding will be held on Aug. 11.
Paul and Darlene Robinson and Michael and Lois Prahl of Elizabethtown announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Kimberly Sue Prahl, to Matthew Parker Stephens, son of Mitch and Melinda Stephens of Frankfort.
Ms. Prahl is a graduate of Thomas More College, where she received a degree in chemistry. She is employed by Givaudan in Cincinnati.
Mr. Stephens is a graduate of Thomas More College/Brown Mackie University, where he received a degree in applied business information. He is employed by NSixty Digital Marketing and is a professional wrestler with the Northern Wrestling Federation (NWF) in the tri-state area.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 25 at Christ’s Chapel in Erlanger with a reception following at Shimmers Ballroom in Fort Wright.
Dick and Barbara LaChapell of Frankfort, pictured here in the receiving line on their wedding day, are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their wedding with an open house today, 2-4 p.m. in First United Methodist Church’s Todd House, corner of Wapping and Washington. E. Dale Kleinschmidt married them on June 23, 1962 at Trinity Methodist Church, Joliet, Ill. Their children are Laura Lancaster of Frankfort and Ellen LaChapell of Waunakee, Wis. They have four grandchildren.
