Pippy and Brownie Boy, two goats belonging to Sandra Carlton, were a hit recently at Morning Pointe, the Alzheimer’s memory care community. Resident Bonnie Hall shared her cool treat with Pippy  while Joan Tichenor had a moment with Brownie Boy. Carlton, who is Hall’s daughter, owns eight goats, chickens and donkeys. Members of VFW Post 4075 visited Morning Pointe of Frankfort to celebrate Memorial Day with residents who are veterans. Burnet Napier, Frank Haynes and Jim Wolcott had holiday luncheon with the veterans. Together the group exchanged military stories and shared photographs along with medals of honor, including one purple heart. Pictured here are VFW members, from left: Haynes, Wolcott and Napier.
