The students, Brooks Sweger, left, Ben Schrader, Chase Sweger, Calley Moore, Cameron Phelps and Ethan Elate, along with Joyce Walton in the back, visited KSU during Vacation Bible School Thursday, June 27. The theme of Bible School was “Operation Overboard,” during which children journeyed beneath the water’s surface to plunge into Bible stories of people with deep faith.

SOS (Sisters of Strength) is a women’s prayer group that meets on the fourth Saturday of the  month, 10-11:30 a.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 1775 St. John Road.  The women share a potluck breakfast, devotional and prayer time. The public is invited to participate. For more information, phone the church at 227-7138.
