Roger Barkley Jr. performs “Pour Down Your Blessings” at a recent service at the West Frankfort Church of God, Louisville Road. Volunteers from Quest Community Church handed out more than 200 bottles of water to community members hosting yard sales as part of the 127 Corridor Yard Sale on Saturday, Aug. 4. The event launched Quest’s “I Love Frankfort Initiative.” “I Love Frankfort is about loving and honoring our city,” said Ken Land, Campus Pastor. “We want Frankfort and the surrounding areas to know we love them where they are – while hosting a garage sale, at work or school.” Throughout the fall, Quest Community Church will be hosting events and serving opportunities in Frankfort as part of the “I Love Frankfort Initiative.” Events are scheduled for teenagers, kids, and families. Quest Community Church volunteers will also be serving several organizations in Frankfort. You can find out more information about I Love Frankfort at ilovefrankfort.com. Quest Community Church is located on Old Lawrenceburg Road (near Capital Bowl). More information is available at questcommunity.com.
