For those of you doing anything according to the phases of the moon and signs of the zodiac, here’s the information for the week ahead.
The moon is in the dark phase now, the full moon having come into force last Monday, Oct. 29. Until the new moon at 5:08 p.m. Nov. 13, we will be under the influence of the dark moon so proceed with dark moon activities.
The signs find the very fertile Cancer (the breast) in force today with the moon in the dark phase. If you’re planting or transplanting this is a good day for it.
A series of killing days, however, begins Monday and continues through Wednesday with the sign in Leo (the heart), one of the two killing signs. These are great days to continue that clean-up work in your garden and preparing it for next year. Just avoid any activity that involves dealing with something you want to live and thrive.
A four-day stretch of flowering signs is on tap for Thursday through next Sunday with the moon, of course, still in the dark phase and the sign in Virgo (the bowels) on Thursday and Friday and then in Libra (the reins) Saturday and next Sunday. These are bloom days and your late fall and winter flowers – or flowers in a green house – planted on these days should bloom and do so magnificently.
Fertile days then return Nov. 12-14 with Scorpio (the secrets), one of the very fertile signs, in force. The moon will change from the dark to light phase on the 13th.
