Everett and Kay Morgan Hawkins will celebrate 25 years of ministry at Faith Baptist Church, 50 Bridgeport Benson Rd., with a special service Sunday, Nov. 11. A dinner, provided by the kitchen committee, will be served immediately following the regular morning worship service and before the service to honor the Hawkinses that begins at 2 p.m. They came to Faith Baptist in 1987 with their daughters, Amy and Abby. During their time at the church the congregation built a new sanctuary to accommodate ongoing growth. The church is a part of the Franklin County Baptist Association. Members of the West Frankfort Church of God B.R.A.T.S. Youth Group (Blessed, Redeemed and Truly Saved) recently went on an outing at the Happy Jack’s Pumpkin Patch. Pictured from left are: Donald Smith, Jr., Timothy Quire, Samuel Quire, John Quire, Abby Quire, Cheyenne Wainscott, Hayden Lahue, Keith Brown, Brayden Eversole and Matthew Quire.  Not pictured are Ralph and Tammy Eversole, Youth Directors of B.R.A.T.S. who coordinated and chaperoned the event. B.R.A.T.S. is a youth program designed for children ages 5-11 that meets weekly on Wednesday evening at 7 in the church fellowship hall, 1518 Louisville Rd.  For more information contact Tammy Eversole, Director, 502-229-6492.
