New Harvest night for special needs kids
New Harvest Assembly of God will hold a date or present-shopping night for parents of children with special needs on Saturday, Dec. 1, 5-8 p.m. at the church, 3864 US Hwy 127 S. The night will consist of a snack, craft, and other fun activities for children with special needs and their siblings, ages 3-12.
This event is free and any donations will go to the Children’s Ministry at New Harvest. If any of your children has a severe allergy, we ask that you call us so that we can plan accordingly. For more information, call (502) 682-3856

Good Shepherd blessing new buildings Dec. 2
Members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Shepherd’s Way off Leestown Road, will join in a service of blessing following the 10:30 a.m. mass on Sunday, Dec. 2 for three new buildings that have been completed on the campus.
The buildings are the Parish Staff Office, school building and gymnasium. An open house will be held sometime in January.
Program to benefit foster children
Camp Pleasant Baptist Church is sponsoring Franklin County’s Foster Children for Christmas to help give foster children a better Christmas. All donations need to be in by Saturday, Dec. 1 and may be sent to:

There will be volunteers at busy intersections around town from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday holding stockings for donations.
