LEXINGTON – The WKYT Sport Boat and Recreation Show continues through Sunday in Heritage Hall and Rupp Arena. Hours are 1-9 p.m. TODAY and Friday, 9-9 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. Admission is $7 for adults, $3 for children 3-13 with children two and under admitted free.
The event features a petting zoo, trout tank and a zip line across Rupp Arena.
VERSAILLES — The Woodford Theatre will stage Driving Miss Daisy on Feb. 1-3, 8-10 and 15-17. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 8 p.m. and Sunday performances begin at 2.

Tickets go on sale Friday for the Bluegrass Theatre Guild’s presentation of Bad Year for Tomatoes in a dinner theater setting at the Capital Plaza Hotel ballroom March 1 and 2 with dinner at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7 and a matinee March 2 with lunch at 1 and the show at 2. Betty Beshoar, of Frankfort, will make a presentation 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at the meeting of the Capital Area Art Guild in the fourth floor community room of Farmers Bank downtown. The public is invited. The CAAG meeting is at 7 p.m.
Beshoar’s work is on exhibit at the Capital Gallery, 314 Lewis St. and in the Jane Chancellor Moore Gallery at the Kentucky Employees Credit Union. Her studio is in the McClure Building and will be part of the Feb. 8 ArtWalk.
The first ArtWalk of 2013 will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8 in downtown Frankfort. Sponsored by Downtown Frankfort Inc. and the Kentucky Employees Credit Union, more than 20 studios, galleries and exhibition spaces will be displaying the works of more than 50 artists, many of whom will be on site during ArtWalk.

In conjunction with ArtWalk, the Jane Chancellor Moore Gallery is hosting the ArtWalk “Sneak Peek” Exhibit through Feb. 6 that offers a sampling of the work of those participating in the ArtWalk.
The Capital City Historical Dancers and Musicians spring dance session will be held in the Thorn Hill Education Center gym 7-9 p.m. beginning Friday, Feb. 8 through Friday, April 26. The dances are simple and fun for the whole family.

Former Miss Kentucky State University Shana McCombs is kicking off her “Let Go! Let God!” 2013 tour at Kentucky State University 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 in Bradford Hall Auditorium. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity is sponsoring the event.
“Let Go! Let God” is a comical spiritual play that showcases the writer’s conviction that “spiritual ignorance” occurs when individuals “… don’t let go and let God.”
