Ms. Smither received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kentucky State University. She is employed by the Kentucky Department of Revenue.
Mr. Hall is employed in facilities management with the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
The wedding will be 5:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at 1180 Smither Hill Lane in Frankfort.

Donald and Ann Bacon Judy celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding Saturday. Msgr. Joseph O’Dwyer married them Aug. 24, 1963 at Good Shepherd Church. Their children are Susan (Marvin) Harrod, Lissa (Troy) McCracken and Veronica Lynn (Shawn) Cecil. The Judys have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. An open reception is 2-4 p.m. today in the Parish Center at Good Shepherd Church.
