World Community Day
Celebration is Friday
The Church Women United World Community Day Celebration is Friday at First Baptist Church, 100 Clinton St., with refreshments at 10 a.m. and the program at 10:30. New officers will be installed during the program. The public is invited to attend.
The program is “Walking through Doors of Opportunity” with the Rev. Donna Aros, pastor of St. Paul Methodist Church, exploring opportunities where CWU can become involved in bringing more unity to the community.
Graefenburg Baptist Church has planned a sportsman’s breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday. The free breakfast includes sausage, eggs, biscuits, coffee and juice. All outdoorsmen and women are invited to attend. A representative from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will be on hand to field questions from hunters and fishermen.

Saturday at St. Paul
The annual Bazaar-Burgoo-Bake Sale and Book Fair at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1800 Louisville Road, is set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be served beginning at 11 featuring burgoo, hot dogs, chips, homemade pie and drinks. The public is invited.
Chili, festival at North Frankfort
North Frankfort Baptist Church, 7945 Owenton Rd., will hold a fall festival/chili supper Saturday. Chili will be served beginning at 5 p.m. with the festival from 5:30-7.
plans Nov. 9 bazaar
VERSAILLES — St. John’s Episcopal Church, 210 North Main St., Versailles, will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 9. A lunch will be served and a variety of items will be available for purchase. Visitors can also register for a prize given by the Downtown Versailles Association.
Bridgeport bazaar set for Nov. 9
The Helping Hands Circle of Bridgeport Christian Church, 175 Evergreen Rd., will hold its annual bazaar 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 9 at the church. Breakfast and lunch will be served.
The event includes a bakery, arts and crafts and the raffling of a quilt for $5 per chance. Childcare will be provided in the church’s nursery from 8:30 until 1.

Sunday at Fintville
The Fintville Community Church will host a performance of the gospel singing group, Cross-Tithes, 11 a.m. Sunday. The public is invited to the performance and the dinner that will follow.
