>Monday, 10 a.m.: The local chapter of AARP will provide a holiday reception featuring Ed Curtsinger hosting karoke. Join the fun and sing along with your favorite holiday tunes. If you have a yearning to sing, outside the shower, this is your chance.
>Wednesday, 10:15 a.m.: Crafter Tobi Tate from Michael’s Craft Store will demonstrate how to make unique Snowflake Wreaths. It’s not too late to design a beautiful holiday wreath for your door, fireplace or handmade wreath, and your Snowflake Wreath will provide cheer all winter long.
>Thursday, 11:30 a.m.: The Senior Center Chorus will entertain with a Christmas caroling performance. A homemade holiday feast with all the trimmings, featuring hams provided by the Elks Lodge will follow. If you plan to attend call 502-223-5794 by Tuesday to register.
>Friday, 10:30 a.m.: Janice Osborne and Miller McKee from the Paul Sawyier Library Outreach program will bring a show featuring skits, trivia, jokes and songs and prizes.
>Dec. 23, 10:15 a.m.: We Three Girls will bring a program of music. Special guests are usually part of the surprise package.
>Dec. 30, 10:15 a.m.: Who says you have to celebrate New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31? Back by popular demand, the Center will usher in the New Year early with country music singer Russ Kennedy as we say goodbye to 2013 and welcome 2014.
