Nourish Your Brain, 10 a.m., Feb. 25: As we grow older, we tend to grow wiser with each year. While our knowledge can continue to increase, our ability to make connections and process information can slow with age. The good news: our daily food and fitness habits can make a difference in the aging process.
In this class we will practice some exercises to keep our brains sharp and learn about foods that will help nourish our brains. While we may still forget why we walked into a room or where we put the keys, this lesson will help us avoid or at least put off more serious problems such as dementia and Alzheimer’s. As part of this lesson we will take a look at “brain” foods as well as look at games and activities that are the best at nourishing our brain
Green Cleaning Class, 5:30 p.m., March 5: Come and learn how to make your own safe and environmentally friendly household cleaning products and save money. Class size is limited so sign up now. Door prizes will be given.
