Join Tamera Thomas to learn what produce is in the fruit group, how much fruit is needed, what health benefits and nutrients are in fruit, and what tips are recommended to help eat more fruits.
Thursday, 10 a.m., Travel with the Cosbys: Through their beautiful photography, join John and Karen Cosby as they highlight a fantastic journey to the ancient lands of Ephesus and Istanbul. Both are historic cities and important to the ancient and modern Middle East.
Friday, TBA, SEC Madness: Gear up for March Madness in style. Come join other SEC fans to watch the Friday afternoon tournament game on a big screen TV. Bring your favorite snack to share with fellow fans for an exciting afternoon.

March 17, 10:30 a.m. St. Patrick’s Day: Miller and Janice from the Paul Sawyier Public Library will be at the Center to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with skits, song, music, trivia and prizes.
March 18, 12:30-5 p.m., AARP Smart Driver Program: Developed after extensive research and field testing, the new AARP Safe Driver Program is a classroom course for drivers age 50 and over.
It identifies changes, which occur as we age and suggests strategies for adjusting to those changes.
Participants will receive a certificate, which usually qualifies participants for discounted automobile insurance premiums. FEE: AARP members, $15, bring your AARP card with you; non-AARP members, $20.

March 17-21, 11:15 a.m., “Leaders for Lunch:” Initiated by the Meals on Wheels Association of America, the March for Meals campaign during the month of March is a national campaign to raise awareness of senior hunger and to encourage action on the part of local communities.
This year the Frankfort Senior Activity Center has invited state legislators, the mayor, our county judge executive and county clerk to help raise awareness at the senior center.
They will be the dining room lunch servers this week.
