‘Passion’ tonight at
Good Shepherd

“The Passion of Our Lord According to St. John” will be presented at 7 TONIGHT at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 75 Shepherd’s Way off Leestown Road. The program is a musical interpretation of the events for Good Friday culminating with Jesus’ crucifixion.
The program, staged by members and ministers of the church, is open to the public and will be proceeded by the Knights of Columbus’s Lenten fish fry at 5 p.m.

‘Finding Jesus’ planned
for New Harvest church

New Harvest Assembly of God, 3864 U.S. 127 S., will host a one-day event entitled “Finding Jesus” from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Lunch will be provided.

Consignment sale Saturday
at Providence Baptist

A consignment sale featuring gently used baby and children’s items is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at Providence Baptist Church, Georgetown Road. The Sunshine Center will receive 25 percent of the profits with 75 percent to the consignors.

Sunday concert is benefit
for Greenhill Cemetery

The Greenhill Cemetery Board is sponsoring the Second Annual Benefit Musical Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday. The concert, under the direction of clinicians Marion P. Rogers and Charles F. Little Jr., will be held at the St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church, 210 Clinton St. Proceeds from the concert will be used to support the upkeep of the Greenhill Cemetery.  
Area musicians are invited to participate and are encouraged to join in the remaining rehearsal at 2 p.m. Saturday.
