Final fish fry is tonight
The final Lenten fish fry sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Frankfort Council 1483 is 5-8 TONIGHT in the Parish Life Center at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 72 Shepherd Way. The menu includes fried or baked Icelandic cod, baked potato or French fries, cole slaw and hush puppies. Carryout is available and all proceeds benefit K of C charities.

Thomas speaking at First Baptist
A mother and daughter fellowship tea called “A Spring Cleaning of the Heart and Soul” will be held 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 100 Clinton St. Admission is $5 at the door. Tamera Thomas will be the speaker at the event that includes lunch and gifts.

Church plans Saturday cleanup
Volunteers are needed to join members of Harvieland United Methodist Church, Flat Creek Road, for a 9 a.m. Saturday road cleanup. The event is a fund-raiser for the church. For more information call 502-682-0022.

Riders plan Saturday meeting
The CMA Capital City Riders for Christ will hold their monthly meeting Saturday in the restaurant at the Capital Plaza Hotel. Breakfast is at 8 a.m. with the meeting at 9. The public is invited.
