Harvieland plans
two-night revival

A revival will be held at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Harvieland United Methodist Church, 2307 Flat Creek Road. Brother Clarence “Shorty” Bowman will be the speaker with special music by South of Heaven Ministries.

First Methodist women
plan April 22 event

The United Methodist Women at First United Methodist Church, 211 Washington St., have scheduled a spring luncheon, style show and craft boutique for noon April 22 in Asbury Hall at the church.
Tickets are $10/person and carryout is available with delivery of two or more orders to the same location. Proceeds will benefit mission services to women, youth and children.

Capital City church sets
women’s conference

Capital City Christian Church Women’s Ministry is hosting a half-day Women’s Conference entitled “Connect the Dots,” 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. April 26 at the church, 15 Locust Lane. Speakers are Nikki Knight and Darby Dugger from Southeast Christian Church, who will speak on connecting with Christ and others.
The conference includes workshops, individual and group breakout sessions, worship, giveaways and more. Lunch is included.
The cost is $10 at the door and all proceeds go to building a well in Haiti for the Haitian Needy Children’s Foundation, which was established by church member Raymonde Jaques.
