Kennedy honored with panel at Cove Spring

Jim Parrish and Jim McCarty, co-directors of the Frankfort Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Sites, unveiled a commemorative panel that will be installed at the Cove Spring Archery Park shelter naming the timber-framed structure for Patrick Kennedy. The ceremony honoring Kennedy, part of a historic preservation workshop, was held at Serafini.

Kennedy was honored at a reception for his work on historic preservation projects in the city parks system. Recently retired, he was a long-time employee of the Kentucky Heritage Council.
