Reception honoring
Ransdell is TONIGHT
Alene Ransdell will be honored at a reception from 6-7:30 p.m. TONIGHT in the Chenault Christian Life Center at First Christian Church, 316 Ann St. She is retiring after 32 years as director of the Resources Office for Social Ministries (ROSM).
The event, which is open to the public, will feature food and music. Those wanting to contribute to ROSM in her honor may make a donation Friday night or send gifts to: ROSM, P.O. Box 302, Frankfort, KY 40602.

Food pantry open Saturday
God’s Plentiful Pantry at Choateville Christian Church, 1533 Devils Hollow Road, will be open from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday with food for Franklin County residents on a first-come, first-served basis. The pantry will be open the same hours June 21.

Luttrell speaking Sunday
Dan Luttrell, pastor of Antioch Church, will speak at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 1490 Louisville Road. Luttrell will share his interpretation of signs in the Bible that presage the end of time. The event is open to the public.
