Bryan named
to Dean’s List
Emma Bryan
, a graduate of Franklin County High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at Bellarmine University for the spring 2014 semester.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must receive a grade-point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Bryan is a freshman majoring in history.

Williams wins
agriculture award

Landon Williams of Western Hills High School was recently presented with the school’s highest agricultural honor, the DEKALB Agricultural Accomplishment Award, sponsored by Monsanto Company.
Williams, the son of Michael and Chris Williams, received the award for excellence in academics, leadership and agricultural work experience.
Williams’ experiences and accomplishments have included Star Chapter farmer, three-time state competitor in crop speech contest, a 2013-14 Capital City region officer and a 2014 candidate for state office.
J.R. Zinner and Kane Johnston are Williams’ agricultural education instructors at WHHS.
As the winner of the 2014 award, Williams’ name will be recorded on a permanent plaque displayed at Western Hills.

Walters graduates with honors
John Garrett Walters recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dramatic performance.
He has signed with Michael Einfeld Management and will move to Los Angeles this summer to pursue an acting career.
Walters is the son of John and Cheryl Walters and a 2010 graduate of Frankfort High School.
