Church showing poverty film
“The Line,” a documentary on problems of growing poverty in the United States, will be presented at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Unitarian Universalist Community of Frankfort, 859 E. Main St.
The film, produced by the Evangelical organization Sojourners, is the second in a weekly series on social justice issues being offered in June. “The Line” tells the stories of formerly middle class people now struggling to survive and support their families as they find themselves at or below the poverty line. The public is invited to the free presentation, and a discussion will follow. For more information call 502-223-5175.

Cornerstone plans yard sale
Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene, 1490 Louisville Road, will conduct a church yard sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. June 28. All proceeds will be used to help children and youth in the church attend camp.
