Food pantry and
clothes closet open

Camp Pleasant Church, 830 Shadrick Ferry Road, has its food pantry and clothes closet open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Mondays and Saturdays. Free food is available for those living in eastern Franklin County with proper identification and free clothes for all.

Relay for Life is
focus of service

Highland Christian Church, Versailles Road and Lyons Drive, is hosting a worship service focusing on preparation for Relay for Life. The service is at 7 p.m. Wednesday. At the service, participants will remember those who have died from cancer and celebrate with those who have survived. For more information, call 502-875-3100.

South Frankfort Presbyterian Church, 224 Steele St., 502-227-7175, 5:30-8:30, June 22-25, “Splash in God’s Word,” dinner is 5:30-6, pre-school through rising sixth graders. For adults: Shannon Craigo-Snell from the Louisville Presbyterian Church will offer a class. Nursery provided.

Camp Pleasant Church, 830 Shadrick Ferry Road, 502-227-5144, “God’s Backyard Bible Camp,” ages 4 though entering eighth grade, 6-8:30 p.m., June 23-27. There will be a campout/bonfire/cookout on last day. Parents must either be present first night to register their children or register online at www.camppleasant.com. Van service is available by calling the church.
