Christian Higginbotham recently graduated from Kentucky Boys State.

Kentucky Boys State is a premier leadership program for male juniors in high school to teach them about the working of local and state government in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The weeklong program took place June 8-15 at the Wendell H. Ford Training Center in Greenville.

Higginbotham learned about Kentucky state government along with becoming eligible for college credit hours in government/political science.

He was elected to the Senate by his peers, received the rifle marksmanship award and was part of the city chosen as the model city for the 2014 Boys State.
