LEXINGTON - Anna Beth Logan's legs are a mess.
After three ACL surgeries and several other operations designed to correct a bone/cartilage problem, they're a mess.
Oh sure, Logan won't go quite so far as to say that. But you know they are, because if that wasn't the case Anna Beth Logan would be playing basketball.
Because that sport is her passion ... the sport that God gave her the seemingly natural skills to play better than any point guard ever to come out of the Frankfort area.
Now, after some four years of pain in her legs, Logan bemoans the cold, damp weather of a Central Kentucky winter.
"This weather, I'll tell you, the cold is just terrible," Logan said recently, talking on the University of Kentucky campus where she's a junior.
A non-playing (basketball) junior.
