Western Hills and Franklin County competed in the first annual Woodford County swim meet on Saturday. With 16 teams and over 350 competitors, local athletes finished as follows:
Girls 200 Medley Relay: 9. Franklin County (Hillary Kell, Paige Burton, Holly Kell, Jordan Redmon) 2:18.34, 14. Western Hills (Katie Laurenson, Chelsea Andrews, Kelsey Hawkins, Bridget Kearney) 2:30.05.
Boys 200 Medley Relay: 13. Franklin County (Scott Breidert, Nick Meade, Jamie Sturm, Andrew Meade) 2:34.42.
Girls 200 Freestyle: 17. Kelsey Hawkins (WH) 2:45.76, 29. Lindsey Gay (FC) 3:18.79, 31. Whitney Thompson (FC) 3:35.86, 33. Kayla Senn (FC) 4:37.69.
Boys 200 Freestyle: 8. Michael Snedegar (WH) 2:04.38.
Girls 200 Individual Medley: 9. Paige Burton (FC) 2:48.34, 13. Jordan Redmon (FC) 2:50.58, 22. Hillary Kell (FC) 3:02.95, 28. Katelin Lee (WH) 3:22.88.
