Indy rolls past KSU

The University of Indianapolis women's basketball team went 29-for-32 from the foul line on its way to a 90-62 win over Kentucky State Thursday at the Exum Center.

Indianapolis (16-2) led 44-28 at halftime after shooting 45.5 percent from the field and 78.6 percent on free throws. Indy improved on both percentages in the second half, going 54.2 percent from the field and a perfect 18-for-18 from the foul line.

Kentucky State (6-14) shot 38 percent for the game.

The visitors placed four players in double figures, led by Erin Moran with 24 points. Megan Dossen was just 3-for-8 from the field but 16-for-17 from the foul line for 22 points.
