Before all was said and done, FVSU was up by 30 points and on its way to an 85-60 win Thursday night at the Exum Gym.

Kentucky State was still in the game, trailing 48-44 with just over 14 minutes to go, but Fort Valley State went on a 17-0 run to put the game out of reach for the Thorobrettes.
A basket by KSU's Kechelle Edwards ended the run, but by then, Kentucky State was down 65-46.
Another run by FVSU, this time 17-6, gave the Lady Wildcats their largest lead of the game, 82-52.
Fort Valley State dominated Kentucky State on the glass, outrebounding KSU 53-31. Tracey Turnbow and Tamara Warner both pulled down double digit rebounds, 12 and 11, respectively.
