The Kentucky State University track and field teams both finished in fourth place Saturday at the Centre College meet in Danville, led by double winners Kristina Dixon and Chris Bryant.
Dixon won the long jump and the triple jump for the Thorobrettes while Bryant took titles in the long jump and the 110 hurdles on the men's side.
Centre won the women's competition in easy fashion while Berea College edged out Centre for the men's title. Western Hills graduate Andrew Smith competes for Centre. He placed second in the discus, fourth in the javelin and fifth in the shot put.
Frankfort High's Leesa Unger and Western Hills Sara Jackson ran unattached in the 1,500-meter run. While their finishes weren't counted in the standings, Unger's time was good enough for fourth place and Jackson's for ninth.
