As juniors, Frankfort High's Jackie Gordon and Western Hills' Meredith Plant turned in MVP seasons on the basketball court.
The pair did the same this season as seniors, and they have once again been named co-most valuable players on The State Journal's 2002-2003 All-County girls basketball team.
Also named to the team are Brittany Wilson and Alex Oder of FHS, and Franklin County's Candice Lightfoot.
Frankfort High's Joey Thacker was named Coach of the Year. The Lady Panthers finished with a 21-9 record, and in their first 11th Region tournament appearance since 1989 reached the semifinals before losing to eventual regional champion Lexington Catholic.
