Franklin County's girls track team finished fourth in the large school division of the E.G. Plummer Invitational Saturday in Danville.
The Lady Flyers' Laroya Hogan won the discus with a throw of 77 feet, 1 inch, and the FCHS girls 4x400 relay team of Caitlin Barker, Yvonne Stone, Layne Bush and Ashley Hogan won in 4:26.68.
Other local winners were Franklin County's Nick Burchfield in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.92 seconds, and Western Hills' boys 4x800 relay team of Vamsi Kuchipudi, Tyler Combess, Matt Hebert and Jonathan Thomas in 9:09.69. WHHS competed in the small school division.
