The Frankfort High softball team has a new attitude, and it's paid off for the Lady Panthers to the tune of three straight wins.
The third one came Monday afternoon with a 5-2 victory over Berea at Lakeview Park. Frankfort swept Burgin in a doubleheader Saturday.
"We're starting to figure out how to win now," said Frankfort assistant coach Bobby Wilson.
The learning process hasn't been easy for Frankfort. The Lady Panthers lost their first 13 games of the season but have gone 4-1 over the last five games.
"We've got a new attitude," said Frankfort junior Brittni Wilhoite. "We used to have our heads down before the games even started, but now we're having fun and we're working hard."
Frankfort was in control nearly the entire way against Berea.
