Babe Ruth tournament starts tonight

The Babe Ruth baseball league recently concluded its regular season, and its double-elimination tournament begins tonight with four games, two at Franklin County and two at Western Hills.

At Franklin County, Chenault & Hoge takes on Kiwanis at 5:30 p.m., followed by Elite Performance versus Commonwealth Credit Union at 8.

Investors Heritage faces American Legion at WHHS at 5:30, and FPD Explorers meet State Journal at 8.

The tournament continues Friday with two winners bracket games at FCHS and two losers bracket games at WHHS. At FCHS on Saturday, the winners bracket final game will be played at 3 p.m. Preceding that will be two losers bracket games at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Sunday's games at FCHS are two losers bracket contests at 1:30 and 4 p.m.

The tournament championship game is scheduled for Monday at 5:30 p.m. If the losers bracket team wins, another game will immediately follow at 8.
