The Frankfort 14-under all-star won two games to advance to the semifinals of the winners bracket in the NSA State Softball tournament this weekend at Lakeview Park.
The 14s will face the Speedmasters today at 1:30 p.m. in the semifinals. The tournament is double elimination.
In other action, the Frankfort Fireballs, a team of local 10-year-olds lost in the losers bracket final of the 10-under tournament.
The Dixie Chics 18-under team lost its opening round game, then won in the losers bracket. The Chics played again late Saturday night.
