The second annual Capital City Classic Racquetball Tournament was held last weekend at the Frankfort YMCA and Kentucky State University's Exum Center.
There were 71 competitors who vied for medals in skills divisions ranging from novice (beginner) to open (high skilled).
Sudsy Monchick, the five-time world racquetball champion, was on hand to for demonstrations, a question-and-answer session, and he signed autographs as well.
Monchik's appearance was to promote a professional stop in Louisville March 4-7 and to support Kentucky racquetball efforts.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Frankfort YMCA and KSU's Career Placement and Counseling for scholarships.
